Jazz returns to historic Druid Hill Park
Jazzy Sundays: A new and exciting addition to the 2007 Summer Concert Series
   

BALTIMORE (June 9, 2007)--- Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks Bureau of Music is bringing smooth jazz to historic Druid Hill Park. Jazzy Sundaysa part of the FREE outdoor summer concert series will be held on June 10, July 8, Aug. 12 and Sept. 9, 2007, in front of Festival Bowl near Safety City from 46 p.m. On June 10th, check out the sultry sounds of Corinthia Cromwell and the Evolution Band. 

Everyone is invited to historic Druid Hill Park to play tennis or softball, jog or bike around the Reservoir, tour park treasures such as the Conservatory, have a picnic and watch the sunset, while listening to smooth jazz. The concerts are a new addition to the 2007 Music in the Parks and Communities Summer Concert Series.

Featured performers will include Corinthia Cromwell and the Evolution Band, the Municipal Band, Baltimores Big Band, the Rush Hour Band, Final Touch, and more.  Bring your lawn chair, sit back, relax, and enjoy! The 2007 Music in the Parks and Communities Summer Concert Series is FREE and open to the public.
