Hot Summer Jazz Sizzles on the Waterfront this Fourth of July
Waterfront Jazz and Arts Festival at Middle Branch Park Brings Music, Entertainment
BALTIMORE (June 29, 2007)--- Enjoy the smooth sounds of jazz and the thrill of fireworks this Independence Day. Join Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks, and Magic 95.9 for the Waterfront Jazz and Arts Festival. This event will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Middle Branch Park from 6-11 p.m.
"The Fourth of July celebration at Middle Branch Park will be a glorious night that the whole family can enjoy," says Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks' Associate Director Portia Harris. "This event is reminiscent of other jazz festivals with food, culture and merchant vendors in a park setting."
Hosted by Magic 95.9's Jammer, the Waterfront Jazz and Arts Festival will feature music by Rhonda Thomas, Jazz Vision, Phaze II, Fertile Ground and Brian Lenair, as well as poetry, magic, comedy and a great view of the fireworks! The event is FREE and open to the public. Food and merchandise will be available for sale. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
