Father's Day Checklist
By: Adrienne Alexander

1. For those who are brave enough or already know how it feels to be pampered, go out and get a manicure/pedicure.  I know some of you don't want anyone messing with your feet but believe me you'll thank me later.

2. Facials are very relaxing. It helps to soothe the skin and also helps relieve tension headaches and stress.

3. Full body massage.  Need I say more?

4. Go to the playground.  All though this is your day, don't let the children think you've forgotten about them. Play some football or basketball and let them  beat you this time!

5. Try a new restaurant with the family. Your grill will still be there, Fourth of July is only a few weeks away.

6. Read a book.   I recommend "He-Motions" by Bishop T. D. Jakes. You know you've been wanting to. Even though you won't be able to finish it all on Father's Day, it's good reading I promise.

7. Take a bath.  No, it's not girlie-- I didn't say put bubbles in there, just sit and relax for a little while.  Take your book with you.

8. Exercise.  We want to make sure you stay around for more Daddy Days so keeping in shape is essential.

9. Hang out. Only if no other plans are made and its been cleared with the significant other. Hanging out with the guys on Father's Day is acceptable after family time has been completed. Go play golf or go bowling. Even a gentlemen's club is ok on this day.

10. Last but not least Worship-THANK GOD for your blessings.

Try to combine your checklist.  Get as much done as possible so you can have a Great Father's Day!
