Born on Nov 23rd , this native Baltimorean, Travis Holifield, is well on his way from being Charm City's best kept secret to the music industry's newest and most precious crowned jewel. True to the game for almost ten years and playing it like a pro for a solid two, BOSSMAN has transformed Mid-Atlantic listeners,  making their ears ring to a rhyme style that is above and beyond anything that's come out of Baltimore. His First single, The "Oh" song, became an instant hit as well as a new city wide anthem. This crafty club banger with a heavy base line, pays homage to real life in Baltimore City and has managed to ring out loud, even through the halls of the Raven stadium. The song reached epic heights in the clubs of Baltimore and Washington DC and quickly  bum rushed the airways with an estimated 2600 spins in the course of a few months. His second and third releases "I Did It " and "Off the Record " followed suite and keeps the Urban Radio P. D.'s jumping for the chance to break a new BOSSMAN single.

Don't get It twisted, Travis "BOSSMAN" Holifield's road to the top has been paved with many obstacles. Just think of HBO's The Wire in real life High Definition.  Before rap became this 23 year old's daily dose of therapy and nourishment, BOSSMAN had other things that took precedence over his early years. Watching his parents get arrested, catching his father getting high and having it all take an even more dramatic turn  when his mother shot at his father. Who would have guessed  that all of this, seen through the eyes of a 9 year old, would lay a foundation for the unbelievable honesty, trivialized truths and vicious rhyme style that you hear in every last lyric he spits.

After years of waiting, watching and wanting, BOSSMAN is ready to add something to the game that many have promised, but failed to deliver. "Rhyme" with the "Reason" . The words that go beyond "Bling & Bitches" and the hunger for his craft that no super size meal can stop.  A young man who has done it all from hustling to delivering dinners . He is "The Prince & the Pauper" story. Independently signed, managed and promoted, his sound now reigns supreme in  the streets of  his native land, flooding mix tapes, clubs, radio and stage. With a flow that's all his own, he has managed to hone in and reflect the same outstanding skills as some of the great hip-hop story tellers of our time. Say hello to the new Boss of Charm City.
